Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah – Dades Valley

Your 3-day adventure to the Merzouga Desert departs from Marrakech early in the morning.
Travel through quaint villages as you head towards the majestic High Atlas Mountains.
Stops are planned along the way to admire the scenery, take photos, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee.

You’ll navigate the winding roads of the famous Tizi-n-Tichka Pass before reaching the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah,
a must-see destination. This fortified Berber village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site,
has served as the backdrop for many famous films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and
Kingdom of Heaven. Cross the river to explore the site at your leisure or hire a local guide if you prefer.

After a self-arranged lunch in one of the village cafés, continue your journey to Dades Valley.
Along the way, you’ll pass through Ouarzazate, the Skoura oasis, and Klaa Mgouna, known for its artisanal rose water production.

Upon arrival in Boumalne Dades, follow a scenic route lined with fortified kasbahs to the impressive Dades Gorges.
You’ll reach your hotel by late afternoon for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Tinghir – Merzouga – Sahara Desert

After breakfast at the hotel, your day begins with a drive through the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs towards the oasis of Tighir.
A secondary road leads to Todgha, where you can enjoy a shaded walk among palm trees, followed by a visit to the spectacular Todgha Gorges.

After a self-arranged lunch at a local café, continue your journey to Rissani, famous for its date market and history as the starting point of ancient trade caravans. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where a lodge awaits you for relaxation and, if time allows, a quick dip in the pool.

Prepare for a memorable adventure: a sunset camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Upon reaching the Berber camp, take in the desert scenery and enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, accompanied by music and drumming performed by your nomadic hosts.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Wake up early for a final sunrise camel ride.
Back at the lodge, enjoy breakfast, a refreshing shower, and, if time permits, a quick swim.

Then, set off for the return trip to Ouarzazate, where you’ll stop for lunch before continuing your journey through the High Atlas Mountains.

Your 3-day tour concludes in Marrakech in the early evening, around 8:00 PM.
