Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora – Dunes

Depart from Marrakech in the early morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka pass, which rises to about 2600m. This winding and scenic route offers breathtaking views. The first stop is the ancient and beautiful Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, nestled in the heart of the desert mountains. Afterward, visit Ouarzazate, the city at the gates of the Sahara.

We continue our journey towards Zagora via Agdez, passing through the magnificent Draa Valley. Upon arrival in Zagora, you’ll swap the minibus for camels to enjoy the sunset and spend the night under a tent. Dinner and overnight stay in the desert bivouac tent.

Day 2: Zagora Dunes – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Tichka – Marrakech

Wake up early to experience the magic of a sunrise in the desert (optional). Then, enjoy breakfast before mounting your camel to head back to the main road. Return to Zagora by camel to rejoin the minibus, and then proceed towards Ouarzazate, passing through the Draa Valley and Agdez (lunch on the way).

Return to Marrakech in the evening.
