Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dadès Gorge

Depart from your riad or hotel early in the morning toward the High Atlas, passing through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Visit the Kasbah and have lunch on-site. Continue toward the Merzouga desert via the Ouarzazate route, with a visit to the Taourirte Kasbah. Proceed toward Skoura and the Thousand Kasbahs, then cross the Rose Valley before arriving at the Dadès Valley. Overnight in a beautiful riad in Dadès on a half-board basis.

Day 2: Dadès Gorge – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, depart to visit the Todra Gorges and the Tineghir palm grove. Continue the journey toward the great desert via Erfoud, with the possibility of visiting a fossil production workshop. Proceed toward the impressive Merzouga dunes (Erg Chebbi) for a beautiful camel ride, watching the sunset amidst the dunes.

Admire the sand dunes and desert landscape while listening to the camp drums in the Sahara. Spend the night in nomadic tents on a half-board basis, enjoying the silence under a starry sky. Dinner and Berber music around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Witness the magnificent sunrise, then have a typical breakfast before returning to Merzouga on camelback. Continue the journey toward Marrakech, passing through Berber villages in the High Atlas. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, marking the end of your tour.

Admire the beautiful landscapes of the Sahara, oases, palm groves, and verdant valleys during the return trip.
